The CB "Vintage J"Created as a companion model to the CB Vintage 'Bone, The CB Vintage J features an understated and simple aesthetic that evokes the look and feel of the original 1930s round-shouldered dreadnoughts. Despite its elegant appearance, the CB Vintage J shares all the important features of the original CB Model J, including premium-quality solid woods, hand-scalloped "high-X" bracing and tap-tuned tops. The Vintage J differs from the original Model J in aesthetics only, featuring the "Vintage" peghead shape with black overlay and abalone CB logo inlay, unbound Ebony fingerboard with no inlays (side position markers only), hand-made rectangular Ebony bridge with no inlays, large sound hole with "single-ring" rosette, tortoise plastic pickguard, and a single "Rose" inlay on the heel cap. Chris' "Classic" peghead, fingerboard & bridge inlay patterns are available at additional cost; see Price List for additional information.
