The CB Super

The CB Super is the largest, most powerful guitar Chris builds.

The original pre-War Super Jumbo guitars featured a 16-7/8" body with Spruce top and Brazilian Rosewood back & sides; Chris' version features a slightly smaller 16-1/2" body to focus the tone and eliminate unwanted bass overtones, while maintaining the full depth of a Dreadnought for power and fullness of tone.

After creating scores of Super Jumbo guitars for other makers, Chris has learned a great deal about what makes these fine guitars "tick", and he has focused his knowledge and experience on the creation of this superb guitar. The CB Super is constructed with design modifications to Chris' hand-scalloped "X-Brace" to maximize the strength and tone capability of the larger & more rounded top.

As a tribute to the original pre-War Super Jumbo guitars, the CB Super features design touches such as double-bound soundhole, pointed-end fingerboard, and Chris' own unique "Moustache" bridge.

The CB Super combines a fine pre-War body shape with the finest materials and Chris' meticulous craftsmanship to create the ultimate in power, richness of tone, and beauty.
